Good evening,
I had some problems interpreting one of my co-cited authorship maps, and an interviewee has suggested that the results make sense if Cortext only recognizes first authors. From reading previous answers I understood this to be the case for ISI-based maps; is this also the case for Pubmed?

Hi Rony,co-cited authorship maps only take the first author into account because ISI doesn’t provide information on the others. I’m unsure whether PubMed provides references data. If this is the case, then you should have a look at the way they are formatted by PubMed.
