Loading a corpus made at WoS as indicated by Cortext directions, and parsing it (as ISI file) I have this error messages:
Debug Log:
2017-09-26 15:19:58 – It seems that the generated database does not contain any table, did you select the correct source for your dataset?
2017-09-26 15:19:58 – It seems that the generated database is empty or corrupted, did you select the correct source for your dataset?
What could be the problem?
Thanks.

Hi,

The files from WOS website, should be “save as” plain text. You should download several .txt files. In order to upload the corpus on CorText, you need to zip all the .txt file in a unique zip folder. Then upload the zipped files.
The web page of the documentation.

Concerning ISI files downloaded from ISI Web Of Knowledge, one should first select  the Web of Science database, type your query, then you can select 500 for each download (step 1), then select Full Records plus Cited References as output format (step 2), before downloading the file in Plain Text Format (step 3).

I hope it helps !

Thanks a lot Lionel. Just Great!
Simple (but serious!) mistake here = “save as plain text file”… Usefull answer there!
